Welcome to Umhlanga Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Centre.
We provide a variety of physiotherapy services to the Umhlanga area; additionally, we provide inpatient coverage of Netcare Umhlanga Hospital.
Our Outpatient Rehabilitation Services is fully equipped and our skilled physiotherapists are able to help you regain your functional independence using a variety of Manual Therapy, Taping, Dry Needling, Rehabilitation/Exercise Therapy and Electrotherapy Skills.

SERISHA SEWPERSAD
Serisha qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2003 from UKZN. She has worked across South Africa, UK , Saudi Arabia and Qatar in a vast range of Clinical and Managerial Roles. She has a passion in MSK, TMJ and Care of the Elderly.
She is committed to Health Care Quality Improvement, Risk Management and Hospital Accreditation and has worked in these roles in many countries.
She has in 2022 completed her Black Belt in Six Sigma Methodology.
Serisha has an appreciation to lifelong learning and has served on Physiotherapy Scientific Education Committee, Spine Conference Scientific Committee and co taught Advanced MSK Program to post graduate physiotherapists. She regularly attends seminars, workshops and updates to ensure that her practice remains at the forefront of evolving medical trends and innovation
